What happened to the Vikings?

I assume the 2Brothers are slip-ons. Does it appear you can access the interiors? If so you may be able to cut the cans off of them. What's the diameter of the cans?

have 2 more. 98' and 99' std. I took the 2 bros off and glasspacked the stock pipes on both. They both have ported and shaved heads and mine has webcams and a dyna3000. I just don't like the look or sound of the 2bros slipons but want the headers and crossover pipe.

Can you give me a little more info on the head work? How much did you mill them, and the specs used to port, etc., and did the Webcams help much? I've not heard much positive about them, but that may have been on bone stock heads. Email me direct if you like, I'm always looking for new projects.  Undecided

here in S.Louisiana that builds World of Outlaw engines. I have Viking Valve springs also. If you do mill your heads don't forget to machine the dowl pins or they may hold the heads off of the block.

I haven't gotten the dia. of the headers yet,I have been spending all my weekends in Houston with my brother in law who has terminal cancer. But hope to start on the pipes in the next few weeks.

The cams have been in the bike for 3 years(bought the bike from a friend but did all the mods for him) and may give me a little more bottom end but I mostly notice the lope at idle. Also Webcams will only use your cams now for rewelding and grinding. They told me they will now grind them to your mods and riding style.

I have a daughter and family that lives/teaches in Lutcher and I go to visit frequently. That would give me a good excuse for a visit sometime down the road....that and another great grandchild expected about February.  cooldude

Did you have any concerns re. piston/valve clearance with that much milled off?
