Here's another picture from that day. It was over 70 degrees on a weekday in December. Not sure who originally posted the ride, but a lot of folks played hooky to join the ride on an amazing day in December. I was riding behind J.R. and I could hear his radio which was tuned to a station playing XMAS songs as we rolled along past green lawns in Narragansett. Great day!

Hey Al - Mine's in the garage waiting for an alternator!
Here's some Valks for ya! Barnstormer and my bike at MotoMarket in Acton, MA. It's to bad they had to close. It was a great gathering spot.

They are a dying breed.....all things being equal, if I still had my '99
it would have in the vicinity of 195,000 miles.

I just returned from a 5,885 mile trip to Colorado last night. Towed my Kompact Kamp trailer. hit Pikes Peak, Independence Pass to Aspen then back through Wyoming to both Dakotas, Minnesota , Wisconsin, UP of Michigan through Canada and stopped in Niagara Falls for a visit with family. The 20 year old valk ran fine at 14,000 feet at Pikes Peak. Had a lot of hot weather but no rain while riding. Did rain at night while I was in the camper though. Good to be back.
