Sorry, Patti and I would love to have gone but I'll be in Miami for my dad's 89th birthday. We're making it a family get-together. You-all have fun, it will be a nice ride up there too.

We would love to be there!  Sad

However, that day I will be departing Lawton, OK with two others and departing for a motorcycle journey through OK, TX, NM, UT, CA, AZ, NV of about 4,000 miles. Will trailer from FL to OK and back, or else the trip would be too long. cooldude

Pete, you couldn't wait to pick a cooler time of the year? I'm jealous of you taking that trip but I've been through most of those areas during August....except California. Have a great ride but be careful with the heat.

As for anchovies, there's only two things I don't like about them. First, the taste....can't stand it. Second, I don't want whatever I'm about to eat to be looking back at me from the dinner plate. Other than that, I'm OK. Can't imagine anchovies with b'day cake.  Shocked

Rick, I am adding 3 more and possibly a 4th. I will let you know when I get conformation. One is my neighbor Ross on his Victory, he has been on a few RTE's with us. and a couple of weeks ago, Ross,  my wife and I had breakfast at a little diner in Interlachen and a fella was checking out my wife...'s shirt and asked who rides a Valkyrie, well turns out so does he, a 2003, has not heard of our VRCC but is very interested in seeing what we are all about, so he would like to attend with his wife. Turns out his daughter is married to the son of the guy I bought my first Valk from, small world sometimes. I informed all that we pass a hat to make up the cost of lunch, looking forward to it.  cooldude

Well, after reading that Nick is going to be wearing his "man-kini" Patti and I WILL be coming to the party. Add 2 more plates and we'll bring a side dish too. Actually the reunion got moved to Sunday and I'm flying out Sunday morning out of Tampa. The flight to Miami from Tampa is only $34 dollars each way. I got a picture of the plane we will be taking, it runs on alternative fuel's and looks fairly new.

John,

I'm thinking of the heat, but a lot of the trip will be at altitude, so I'm hoping for divine intervention. Cool vest is in the bags.

Btw, I will be traveling with Jim Lambros, and Pharmboy. You probably at least know of them if you have not met. Two great guys. We will be on the road for 12 days, plus 2 days to OK, and 2 days back.

As for the anchovies, I'm with Bronx Boy. I love them. However, with BDay cake, I'd have to get them on the side.

Hey Rick been a while since we went to your place when the Tennessee boys were there but I think I can find my way back.  Put us down as maybe.  I took the Valkyrie out last week one day and I was reminded why I don't like to ride in July.
