Well the day started out at the " house", Don aka Old Fart took us on a 6 hour ride thru some back roads I never knew existed. Our goal was the Green mountain over look and a ride around lake Apopka. But the final destination was the icing to a great ride. I know we went thru Trilby, hit 50 then back roads thru Clermont and came out around 50 & 27. Then onto Green Mountain overlook followed by a great lunch at Uncle Kenny's BBQ. If I'm sounding a bit vague it's because I didn't know these roads existed. Great back roads. Thank you Don. This was a great ride, suggested last night at Hardee's by Joe AKA (Lucky Duck) and had 10 ready to go. Met at the House and Don took the lead and took us on some fantastic back roads. (Great job Don) thanks. Uncle Kenny's set us up at a nice table that put everyone comfortably together. Food was very good and service was fast . We would have had 2 more if Greg and Jerry Jennings were not on vacation. Nice picture of the bikes Eddie, John's red Goldwing did not get in picture. I was on this ride last year lead by Jerry S and then met Jack and he took the lead, it was also a great ride with different roads. Great day with a great group, could have been a little cooler but no rain. I took a lot of pics but don't know how to post Thanks again Don and Joe Looking forward to Saturday's ride Steve

I appreciate all the flowers, guys. My goal when leading the pack is that everyone is happy with the roads (most of which I have to credit Jerry Sheffer with showing to me) and with the pace that I set. I almost missed one turn, and my GPS caused me to miss one altogether, but we did finally find Uncle Kenny's, and it seems that everybody was happy with that, also. Now, if I can just remember to put on my sunblock.......

I see how it is, No invite to the ride Was this just a Hardees Boys event? Or the Soggy bottom Citrus Boys? I was all done with my bike by Wed, and all detailed up. Thursday I went on a little ride, just to make sure everything was good to go, had I known of this event I would have jumped in

Sorry Nick, some of us didn't know you are available for week day rides too. They only let me go because I can post pictures. URL=http://s1200.photobucket.com/user/2001valkyrie/media/image_zpserx5gzaz.jpeg.html] [/URL]
