I think he's refering to the fact that if you're going to buy a "Sport Cruiser", don't forget about the "Sport" part. The Valk is a fun bike to push, and that's where the fun lies for some people!  cooldude

I "think" he was refering to buying a IS and then making something else out of it or making a Standard from a IS like one guy was talking about !!!!

I'm sure Joe will answer you, but it's a quote from Jerry "Motorman" Palladino.  His point is that if you don't go lock to lock in tight turns and you don't take the bike to its limits then you're not really using all the bike has to deliver.

Of course, you do have to know (learn?) what those limits are.

Willow is correct (and yes bud...you can show this post to motomomma as proof that you were right at least once).

When I saw the Ride Like A Pro IV (I believe it was 4 that I saw) video, Jerry used that line and I liked it enough to quote him.  Granted, I haven't lived up to that saying yet...but I am working on it.  Cheesy

I haven't either, Joe, but I'm working on it.  Some have.  Our friend, Scott, comes to mind.

As for telling Mama, there's no need.  I told her the other time.   Wink

Yeah...he knows how to handle the big girl in the parking lot.  I haven't had the pleasure of riding with him though.  I would like that chance sometime.  Guess I need to hold off on the number of wheelies so I am able to ride every day at next year's InZane.

Thanks cooldude I believe "Jerry Motorman Paladino" is from my neck of the woods. If my rememberer is correct, he's with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, or maybe the Newport Richey Police Dept. in Florida?
