Interesting guy and his wife, recently from So. Korea, very broken English yet. He and his wife live around the curve from our place, maybe equal to a couple blocks away, and walk around the circling streets in our area that go around the center of the golf course. If my garage door is open they stop and talk about the two bikes, and ooh and aah over the Valkyrie. He surprised me today, telling me he's 67, doesn't look it, and he rides....apparently a crotch rocket. They have stopped at least four times in the last few weeks, we're able to chat pretty good even with the language difficulty. He asked today if I'd help him with his sidestand, best I could tell is he needs it changed to a different one he has but doesn't have the tools to do it. Told him bring it on, so he'll be here around 5:30pm tomorrow, and his wife is making some kind of BBQ which I think she called Korean BBQ, wants to do it in payment for helping her husband. He also asked if I ride with anybody so told him about our Fla. bunch, our RTE's, etc., so when it gets a bit cooler he would like to join me, he wondered about the group so I told him everybody uses the same Parole Officer so there's not any problem.

Obviously not what I said and he's looking forward to riding with us, don't know if his wife rides with him or not. I'll find out more in the coming weeks.
His background is interesting, took part in the Summer Olympics in Seoul but couldn't understand him other than a picture of him carrying the So. Korean flag. Also a speed skater at one time, showed me a picture of him on the race course, not sure I understood when. He laughed and said "long time ago." He was a skate coach among other things, as his English improves I'll find out more but seems like a real nice chap. He & his wife were surprised when he asked how old I was, not sure if I looked older or younger judging by their conversation.

I'll add more as I chat with him, his wife gave me a hug as they were leaving.....and I found out his Korean name equates to John in English, at least that's how I understood her.
