Pictures ? Damnit we need pictures glad a good time was had by all.  I spent this morning seasoning some pork Butts and getting them on the smoker and headed to a local independent mech to retrieve the forks for my IS ( blown seal ) I get there and they are not ready as stated so I said I will just get on the Bee and buzz around local and stop in to check fire in smoker but NO the good lord saw fit to give us some much needed rain so I have sat in my Garage polishing the Gurls and tending a fire in a monsoon
Oh and had a few adult beverages along the way

Thank you so much for such a great day. There was so much delicious food and wonderful company. I agree, it was pretty hot. Some of us older, more rotund (Is this polite??) folks were doing some sweating for sure but it didn't seem to keep us from eating all that food. I know this was a great deal of trouble for you all but your efforts are much appreciated. I felt kind of sad seeing all of y'all ride up on your machines but was real glad to be in my nice cool truck going home. I hope all of you get home safe and sound. It was real nice to get to see so many folks, some new ones as well, that I don't get to see as much any more.
A special note to a good friend about to embark on an exciting adventure. It was nice to get to talk to you for awhile today. God speed on your journey.

One of the best get-togethers in a long time!
Saw friends I haven't seen in a while as well. Probably one of the largest gatherings in a long time. Am sure someone will come up with a final count. I heard 29 bikes or so.
Tundra....you would be proud. A couple of rain drops got on your old machine and Jerry was "Johnny on the spot" with some lemon scented something or other polishing them right back off!
I stuck around, not wanting to deal with the heat of driving home in the hottest part of the day. Prior planning paid off in that I brought some shorts to swim in so the die-hards hit the pool for a while and let the sun get to a better spot in the sky.
Some of the Maggie Valley crowd may have missed the fact that there was some dynamite Peach Cobbler to be had there. All I can say is that it pays to stay later!

Many THANKS to Rick and Kristie for a great get together. Roxie and I had a great time, and we both really appreciate all the time and effort that you put forth to put on this shindig. I saw quite a few familiar faces, and added some more to remember in the future.
