Seriously, car tires.  Car rides on 245/45-20's and leave a lot of room inside the wheel wells.  Would like to fill up the space with higher profile tires.   Thought about a lowering kit but in my area she'd bottom out too often.  I really like that old school look of big rubber but don't really want to go much wider than they are now.  Any ideas for a tire size?  Thanks.

If you want to "fill up" the space, you need tires of a larger outside diameter.  However, if you do that, you will need to reprogram the computer with different shift points or suffer the degraded performance.  The speedometer would need reprogrammed to compensate.  The larger diameter tires might also alter the effectiveness of the anti lock brakes.

Finding tires with a taller aspect ratio might be the easy part.
There are several tires available in 245/50 20
