Robert,

I think that if you painted your side covers red that you would like that the best.  cooldude :cool dude:

I am really thinking hard of painting mine gloss black.  Someone must have painted the side covers on a blue valk.  I would love to see that.  Painted side covers always look great.

You are probably right, as I was standing there with the black covers back on I said ok now how about painted. I have so much in the past been able to see the changes in my mind but for some reason I just cant seem to get a clear pic of this. I think I am going to live with the side covers for awhile and chrome the rear handles and then lets see where we go. BTW thanks  cooldude

since i always get asked HOW BIG IS THAT MOTOR..... i had some numbers left on the gold clad decals that i put on the back of the trunk ie. VALKYRIE..... on the side covers just below the valkyrie i added 1832......now when people ask i just point and they go WOW.......
had a great ride yesterday    lots of bikes out    we had 8 in our group, 2 Harley trikes, an FLH, a road king, a fat boy, another full dress Harley, a friends 97 Valkyrie Bumble Bee, and my 2014 Val.   now i cant wait till i get the 1975, premo clean, Gold Wing in the line up..... only 18,300 miles on it and SUPER clean......       i pick it up a week from Tuesday, finally will have 2 bikes back in my garage...

I like the stock covers -- just the way they come from the factory.

Guess I'm in the minority. Not the first time.  uglystupid2

Nope, I like them stock, too. Not that I don't like seeing different versions, I just prefer them stock for myself. Of course that might just make a minority of two instead of one....  Roll Eyes
