I've done several things to improve Chewie's comfort level this summer.
Corbin sent me a thick backrest, it sits me a little closer to the bars.
I've moved the bars some, they're higher now.
My front wheel has never been properly balanced, and had a Dunflop bias-ply tire. I
just balanced both my wheels (sans tires) and put Avons on... an AV-80 and
and AV-71. Of course the AV-71 is a 120/70 instead of a 130/60. Adrian is
spot on about getting a good tire on front, though I don't think your 120/70 has
to be a Michelin trail bike tire

...
Since I must balance my wheels with weights (for sure my front wheel)
I can no longer depend upon RideOn for balance, but I still hope it
offers protection for flats, so I've got weights and RideOn.
My bike is finally smooth as silk and the handlebars/seat/backrest fit
me. Just in time for the big Valkyrie meet up at the mid-point of the
Blue Ridge Parkway this weekend... do any of you guys over here on
the 1800 board know about that?
The Corbin guy told me I could send back my seat and they'd make
its sweet-spot match up with the new backrest... I'll be doing that after
the ride this weekend...
