Hi,
As I search the forum, I see that most of the 1800 valkyrie riders prefers to customize their bike more like cruisers.
But for my taste, old school cruiser image doesn't fit to 1800 Valkyrie and I prefer a more street bike look.
For a while I've been searching about bar-end mirrors. Before this bike I used them sometimes. Finally I used it on my 2015 Motoguzzi V7Racer.
Sure bar-end mirrors look good on a cafe racer but what about on Valkyrie ?

Is there anyone tried this ? Have a pic ?
Also is there any rizoma or other options for valkyries fat handlebar ?

Have fun,ride safe.
Emir.

Emir, I haven't seen a post on this or pics yet. I prefer the original look and where the mirrors hang, but it seems some mods do personalize the bikes.

Hi Emir,

I have seen a few fat handlebars that I think would work.  You just have to make sure that the bar for the handlebar clamps are 1" and the same for the grips.
I was looking at a set that were 1.5" thick, but the grip and clamp section was downsized to 1".  I didn't get them because they were not long enough for what I wanted.

Something like this would work for you.  You would have to keep the OEM clamps.  I couldn't find anything else that would work.

I think that bar end clamps would look cool with the stock Valk bars.

I thought about it but they make the bike wider and would be the first thing you hit in tight places so I stick with the regular mirrors.

Thank you for all answers,
But ı did not understand why ı need New handlebar for the mirrors ?
I am consider ing these mirrors.
http://www.rizoma.com/universal/mirrors/class-retro/en

Do ı need New handlebar for installing these ?
And this kind bar end will not change the width of the bike and there will be no problem for traffic.

Sorry Emir,

I read your comment wrong.  I thought that you were considering some other handlebars.

Bu the way the handlebar you suggested looks real cool but there will be too much modification and i am afraid to play with technical parameters of the bike.
Only cosmetic visual touches I can dare Smiley

I've used Napoleon bar end mirrors, they are full size and may not please all but really work well. I found an identical set of mirrors as OEM Valkyrie but with longer stems on ebay. The mirror heads were cheezy but the longer stems were same shape as OEM only longer, not quite as nicely finished but you can't tell.  They easily attached to the OEM heads and now I can't see my wide shoulders anymore, only the stuff behind me, what a difference. cooldude
