Jet hot coating
«

Just got done talking to the people at Jet Hot.
I am looking at getting my Viking headers done in Black.
They say their coating is good to 2000Deg.
Price is 415, that is with shipping. This seems fair
to me .They will have to clean serface rust before coating.

I'm curious for future reference.
Do they need to strip the Viking's original ceramic header coating prior to their application?
Mine are only 4 years old and are still in good shape. But from what I've seen the ceramic coating must be porous because I've seen them rust in high humidity or salt air storage conditions.
