OK, looks like I just bought a FAT LADY!!!  (I guess now it's ok for me to call it that, huh?)

Thanks to all the help here. (ins, parts availibility, etc...) I'm excited!!

'99 Standard w/17K

There;'s a lot of "personal customizing" on it that may or may not stay.  Supposily all the original parts/equipment should come with the sale too.

Unfortunatly for ya'll I'll be around here quite a bit to get all the perks/idiosyncrasies about these things.

Again, Thanks fellas!!

Congrats from a fellow Texan and new Valk owner also!  Post up some pics when you get some so we can see what she looks like.

Congrats on the Fat Lady.

Don't sweat stock parts, just ask you may get some stock stuff for free if you need it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah I know!!

Gotta get the wife to show me again how to use the camera and the figure out how to post.  Looks like there's plenty of instructions.
First of all I gotta pick up the bike, Hopefully Friday morning.  Not sure if it has been inspected or registered in the last couple of years.  If I can get it road worthy (tags, ins) I might take it on a Poker run Sat.

Congrats TX.... you will enjoy.   I pulled the trigger again tonight, & bought one also.  This will make my third one in 18 months. I started wih a tourer -(sold it)  then a Interstate- (sold it)  and now I've got a Standard. I will keep this one.  I've bought & sold a lot of bikes in my life, but never found one better than the Valk.  I have also found the people here on the VRCC are the best you will find in friends.
