OK, looks like I just bought a FAT LADY!!! (I guess now it's ok for me to call it that, huh?)
Thanks to all the help here. (ins, parts availibility, etc...) I'm excited!!
'99 Standard w/17K
There;'s a lot of "personal customizing" on it that may or may not stay. Supposily all the original parts/equipment should come with the sale too.
Unfortunatly for ya'll I'll be around here quite a bit to get all the perks/idiosyncrasies about these things.
Again, Thanks fellas!!

This post is useless without PICS! Yeah, yeah, yeah I know!! Gotta get the wife to show me again how to use the camera and the figure out how to post. Looks like there's plenty of instructions. First of all I gotta pick up the bike, Hopefully Friday morning. Not sure if it has been inspected or registered in the last couple of years. If I can get it road worthy (tags, ins) I might take it on a Poker run Sat.

Congrats TX.... you will enjoy. I pulled the trigger again tonight, & bought one also. This will make my third one in 18 months. I started wih a tourer -(sold it) then a Interstate- (sold it) and now I've got a Standard. I will keep this one. I've bought & sold a lot of bikes in my life, but never found one better than the Valk. I have also found the people here on the VRCC are the best you will find in friends.
