About 7 years ago, I added driving lights to my I/S.  I bought the wiring harness for them.  The other night, the relay fried.  The contacts are fused together.  It is a 4 pin 30 amp 12 volt relay.  I have spent a lot of time trying to find a replacement.  I have found that it is used by several aftermarket lighting mfr and also used in Mitsubishi cars.  Found a Mitsubishi p/n and called the dealer....$24!  WTF  It's a $4 part.  I have only been able to find one place on the net so far, but my browser won't let me connect to the purchasing side of the site...say's it is not "trusted".

Any of you electrical gurus have a source for this type of relay?  For less than $24?  I want to be able to just plug in a new one as I have no clue or signs as to what contact is what.  I know on this picture there is a diagram on it...not on mine.

The relay is made by Song Chuan...p/n 804-1A-C1

Something I learned a few years ago about these type of relays...if the relay is not sealed, the contacts/coil will rust.  Then when you need it...It won't work.  I swapped over to hermetically sealed relays and never looked back.

Valkyrie Interstate Driving Light Relay

AutoZone sells a Pilot (brand) Replacement Relay for $4.99

The Pilot relay model number on the packaging card is PL-RY1.

Note: Number C0249 is printed on the relay itself.

Also

Interstate - (Hondaline Driving lites), and found that a Fog lite Relay from
a Honda CR-V # 39797-SE0-004 is exactly the same
