HELLO,

I just bought a 1999 Interstate from a Worcester dealer that he had received in trade. I live in Southwick, Mass. I am slowly coming up to to speed on the VALKYRIE. Look forward to meeting you.

Welcome to the world of the best cruiser ever made.

Picture?  It's a job to do, but it can be done.

Any questions on your bike, go to the tech board and do a search.  If that doesn't help you, ask a question and don't worry if people say "do a search", we all like the discussions.

Are you a native of Southwick?

Thank you, no, I grew up in East Hartford. I have lived in the Agawam/Southwick Mass area for the last forty years.

I bought a 1970 CB750 new in 1970. Recently bought another 1970 CB750 only to find out that it wasn't as comfortable as it was then and decided to check out Goldwings. Soon afterward I discovered the Valkyrie.

Getting used to it now.

Welcome!  Many of the people on this board have owned and ridden their Valkyries for over 15 years.  There's a lot of knowledge here.  Feel free to ask questions.   cooldude

Did it happen to be a green interstate at Wagners?  If so beautiful bike I was admiring it a couple of weeks ago.

Just came back from my 2nd familiarization ride. Getting used to stopping etc. And smooth takeoffs. This was a 10 mile country ride. Runs great. Front shocks make some noises though. I'm delighted. Should be ready in the spring for some breakfast rides etc. Wife wants no part of it though.

This was one of those "It's easier to get forgiveness than permission" purchases.
