Hi everyone, just picked up an almost new 2014. Lots of extras on it. Loving the ride, came off a Honda CB1100. What a difference! Honda wants $44 for a key blank. I see lots of blanks on eBay, but for gold wings and old Valkyrie. Anyone know part number on blank?

They had a blank at Lowes that seemed like it would work, he
cut it but it only works to open the gas cap cover, it doesn't
work on the ignition, so be careful out there... the Lowes one
only cost a couple of dollars though  cooldude

OK, just back from Ace, they had the HD96P blank, works perfectly! For some reason I didn't think Ace would have motorcycle keys. Thanks

Went to my lock smith today and got a key I think it was hd101 fit perfectly and had the black cover on it. So I took it off and cut down the height of the key a bit then lacking something constructive to do polished the key a bit. Looks ok and much less bulky but I think I will cut it some more.
