Will these (see in link below)  mount  in the cobra lightbar housing without major mods?

There is a fellow that made a headlight adapter for the daymaker headlight.  He advertised it on the general board.  In his youtube video of the headlight into his bracket you can see that he has these mounted in his Cobra light bar shells.  He said that he had to modify a little but didn't go into detail.  I have ordered a set for mine but they have not arrived yet so can't tell you much more.  If you look on EBay you can find brighter ones.  I believe the ones you are looking at are 1220 lumens each.  The ones I ordered are 1440 lumens.
Check youtube under Valkyrie headlight conversion and tske a look.

The dimensions are this:
9.1 x 6 x 4.6 inches

I don't know why there are 3 numbers for a round item. It should be diameter and depth.

The lights are 4 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch. Or 112mm x 60mm. Its the depth of the light you have to worry about. Just tried them on my national cycle light bar and they don't fit. Light housing is not deep enough. Plus you have to add another 3/8 inch where the wire comes out the back of the housing.

If you do find some that are thinner, front to back, then let me know.  Wink

Not sure about those lights. I installled the 4.5 inch, 2.5 inch deep LED LX-Lights (on Amazon) into the NC light bar a couple of weeks ago. I had to stripth wire off the soft plastic/foam insulation to the hard plastic back. Take care when stripping, it is way too easy to cut the wires. There was a cap on back that I removed, crimped on a couple of spade connectors and was snug fit. I also installed a reservoir three switchbox.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B3774LG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These are the ones I bought, but I would suspect all are made by the same company. When I get home tonight I will take some picts. Only mods involved, striping the thick insulation and crimping the connectors elec tape to ensure no issues. Again snug fit, but trim ring does fit flush to the shell.

Fingers, I believe the cap is for humidity/heat. When I remove the cap there is a  paper type screen covering the openning. I cannot seem to attach the picts from my phone if you PM me your # I will text you the picts.
