A buddy of mine has a 2014 Valkyrie with the Corbin seat, I rode on it, it's ok but I'm looking for a more comfy seat....So far, Corbin is the only company I can find that makes a seat..

You can request Corbin to use a softer foam if/when you order from them as a option.

Where have you been hiding Dawg? Hope you can come down and join us at the FCR.
As to the Russell, I got one for the trike this year and love it.

I don't use the second back rest and it looks like Robert does not as well. But when I have had it in, it provides great back support. I am 6' nothing. I've sunk an inch!

Your Corbin setup is beautiful, for sure. The way the backrest sits in the slot, though, doesn't look like it provides real support since have to lean forward toward the bars on this bike. How tall are you, if you don't mind asking? Have you found that to be case? .JPG) 6', 225 shirt arm length is about 34/35 and I really dont use a back rest but I have tried one in this seat and would consider it because it does provide support and a bit more comfort on longer rides. The positioning of the backrest on the Corbin seat is pretty good. You have to remember the seat pan on the Corbin is very well made and strong. Between the backrest being a slight bit forward because of padding and the positioning of the backrest in the slot it goes into in the seat and the angle of the backrest pad being adjustable you can dial in the where it feels comfortable to you. So It does go far enough forward to be of support even when leaning forward. Most of the time I am on and off the bike and have never really needed a backrest and found it more of a nuisance since you have to be like Jean Claude Van Dam and lift your leg way in the air or slide your leg across to dismount. Have to be cool on mount and dismount

I have the Corbin on my '14 and it has served my ass well! Doubled my range easily. I was a 80 mile-need-a-break cruiser....now Im closer to 200 miles.
