All you folks up north stay safe. I pray it doesn't knock the power out for too long.

So far, so good for us in Winter Park....at least in our 'hood. All our utilities are underground in this neighborhood so trees and branches blown down don't affect it. I haven't heard any thunder so that means no lightning. A lot of small debris laying around blown out of the trees, might be different elsewhere.

Rita got "skeered" during the night so crawled in bed with me. This morning she told me the wind howled pretty good at times, then added...."both from outside and my side."  Grin

Tree on our property fell on our entrance cable.  Took out our power and a lot of the neighbors too.  Out from 330 pm yesterday until 0930 am this morning.  Pretty fast for a rural Co-op like Clay Electric.  I saw some trucks from Withlacoochee Co-op out today.  Lots of folks on highway 100 in Starke headed East with their RV's and boats going back home toward Daytona etc.
Yard was a mess, but I got it all raked, just need to pick up the piles.  Hope all of you on the East coast survived without damage.
