Just cut the piggy's off, you will get more sound.

And add wide open slash cut tips. Plenty of nice roar w/o sacrifing the stock exhaust and tips.

What do you mean by "wide open"?

No baffles etc. just straight 4" 18 ga. exhaust tubing from your local exhaust shop. I got about $30, some SS washers milled to the right configuration, and two attempts due to welder miscommunication in mine. Hope to send them away for chroming this winter. Mine are 12.5" long.

My '99 Classic came with Cobra 6x6 pipes and they seem plenty noisy for me.  My only complaint is that it is easy to burn your unprotected leg on.

I know, I should have pants and boots on....but I'm in Texas and I seem to wear shorts more often than wearing pants.
