Its Not Over Till The Phat Lady SCREAMS . . . -------------------------------------------------
I now have over 500 miles on my Cream/Yellow 1999 since Bob Smith(Attic Rat) did his magic.
Took a 150 mile ride yesterday Half at 60-75 MPH other half at 85-110 MPH.
You notice the difference after Bob's work at any speeds--> BUT--> you REALLY notice it when you are Hauling Ass.
I was North bound on I-35 at 85 when an SUV passed me so I just hooked in behind him- he was cruising at 90-100 MPH I would fall back and the get on it hard to catch up again.
I talked about the Smoothness of the machine after Bob's work in my last post & that does not go away even at 110 MPH- if anything it is smoother. The Bike is so responsive no matter how fast you are going when you get on it, but when I would punch it at 85-90 mph it would just "JUMP" to 100 and 110 instantly.
I feel almost no "engine" in the grips- I feel alot more "Road" feed back than anything else.
SOOOO Friggin Coool !!!!
The money I spent with Bob(Attic Rat) is , without a doubt -THE best money I have ever spent on my VALK ( or any other M/C I have owned).
I will continue to post these Reports/Revioews as I get more Miles & Time on my Baby . . .

Thanks for the updates. Does anyone have 50/75/100k miles after his work? I know these engines are good for half a million miles or better. I'm just wondering how the higher compression affects longevity of everything or just more smiles per mile

the higher compression being used while still using pump gas is not a problem for this engine or any engine esp. with the low red-line in affect.

Have NOT had Bobs upgrades done but I believe the last time I talked to him he mentioned 91 octane for the upgrades. RIDE SAFE.

I have always used Premium Grade Name Brand gasoline since I bought my 1999 Valk.
Bob advised me to continue with Premium after his Preformance Pkg. work.
So far after about 500 miles on the bike since Attic Rat's work it looks like about a 10% increase in gas mileage-> with a BIG increase in HP & Torque.

Just think of all that money you wasted on hi-test until you got Bob's improvements. The engine was designed around regular and until his engine rework, nothing else was needed.

I have my deposit in to Bob, Im riding my Valk down from Washington State in late April and then fly home and fly back down the 1st of June and pick her up. I asked Bob if there is a break in period and he said no he said "You can ride it like you stole it". I'm really looking forward to having my bike worked on by the Word famous Attic Rat aka Bob Smith.

Yep, I love the way my valk runs after the attic rat treatment. Fuel milage is around 37-38 if I can behave myself which is rare. Oh and it was a best of 121 h.p. with the vikings. The Vikings did lean it out a bit around cruzing rpm 3000-3500. I may have to mess with the needles but I still hear Bob's voice in my head...."don't F with these carbs"...
