Came home and parked bike. Evrything was OK. Next day, won't start and no headlight. Seems dead. Other lights, gauges ad horn ok. Any help appreciated.

 Thank's Chuck

Sounds like the starter switch to me.

Try doing switch maintenance, worked for me.

How about the emergency stop switch? There is a club and it is very large!  coolsmiley

The headlight would still come on even if the kill was in "kill" mode

Headlights run through this pitiful little switch.  When it gets burned and corroded, it fails to make contact.

Kinda sounds like maybe you just left the switch on and flattened the battery.. If the kill or start switch was giving trouble the lights would still come on.. You could try charging the battery and checking all the wires for good clean connections and grounds, especially the battery negative cable at the block behind #6 cylinder..
