Rear Brake Pad Question
«

Other than being a little thicker, are front and rear pads the same and interchangeable . I put new goldwing rotors and they a little thinner than stock. I think rear pad will fit because I see a lot of piston showing with new front pads.

Yes, they're interchangeable. The rear pads have the stainless insulator on them which is transferable.

Thanks Rick-D. Do you know of I should ditch the insulator on the front?

I switched to Wing rotors with no pad change. No problems yet. 3-4 years now.

there are other rotors that work, cb600 for one and are cheaper than the wing ones.
the valkyrie OEM rotors are thicker than any other rotors honda has put on any other bikes.

Yea, you can. They may not fit if the insulator stays, besides, there's not the heat buildup like there is on the rear so the insulator is not necessary.
