Well what a whirlwind the last two weeks have been. Kathy and I wish to thank everyone for making our day so special. It was quite an experience for me. Everything went just as we had hoped. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
Memphis and Nashville were awesome! I keep asking it if it was wrong to spend the first couple nights of our honeymoon at the Heartbreak Hotel. We're still married so I guess we are OK. We did all, most, some of the things you are suppose to do in Memphis. Graceland, Riverboat Cruise, Beale St and the Memphis Zoo. Kathy saw panda bears, polar bears and almost got eaten through the glass by a grizzly bear. I think her highlight was the camel ride. Not 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fu Man Chu, but 5 minutes on a camel named Matthew. Later on Beale Street i was able to hail us a horse drawn carriage ride. This of course gave me husband of the year. Not bad for being married only 48 hours.
Nashville was my treat. I was able to see Music Row, Country Music Hall of Fame, Johnny Cash Museum and George Jones Museum. It was good for me to stand in the middle of the Rotunda with all those brass plaques and recognize all those people that were in my house when I was growing up. It was nice to share that with the memories of my parents.
The ride down and back was awesome. The weather was great and Kathy only climbed under the dash board once or twice.
Again, we want to thank everyone for sharing this joyous event with us.
I sure at some point I will bore you to death with pictures and stories but this will cover it for now
