Big BF is Awesome!

Thank goodness for Big BF and his traveling magic show! I'm a total newbie to cycling and bought a 2003 standard back in the spring. One day she suddenly dropped half power so it seemed. Not being a cycle mechanic myself, I thought I was going to have to go thru the local Honda houses here in Dallas. Called them all and just did not get a good feeling that any of them knew much about Valkyries. Previous owner gave me all his receipts from the past. One happened to be from Big BF who I had become a little aware of from reading VRCC forums. Emailed him about what he thought it might be and asked if he could recommend a mechanic in Dallas and he answered right back that he was actually coming thru Texas in a few weeks. Just so happened he stopped off in Tyler TX at another VRCC brothers house the same weekend I was going to a gun show in Tyler so I hauled my bike to him. He diagnosed very quickly, just by feel I might add, that right side carbs were not even active. We looked thru that folder of receipts and saw where previous owner had had some outfit overhaul carbs back in 2011. Big BF bet that they had used silicone sealant in reassembly and that it had deteriorated and stopped carbs. Well guess what? He was exactly right. He got her all cleaned, rejetted for my new Cobras, synchronized and man does she SCREAM now. I'd also mention that he took care of other things that I had no idea about, such as cleaning and refurbishing my starter button. He added a spacer so my tank would clear my new VStacks, and he threw in some awesome chrome screens inside the VStacks. I really can't express how thankful I am that I was able to put my Dragon Bitch in the hands of a Master such as Big BF. Plus, he is one helluva nice guy.
