This sound seems to happen when the bike is cold but I hear it while walking it back
What might be causing this sound. It is hard for me to say if there is greater resistance backing up as it is a new feel to me.

you think it's drivetrain or brakes?  my front brakes do that when cold and I'm pushing her back out of the garage, but ain't nothin to it. But if it's your rear drive, well I'd get her on a lift and check on that.  maybe it's not the drive but the rear brake (left side), in which case I'd say don't worry.

Mine squeals when I back it out of the shed, with mine it is a front brake rubbing.

Sounds like you guys might need to remove the calipers, push the pistons out a bit, and clean them up.....  the brake dust and debris may be starting to make them hang up.

Mine doesn't squeal but does at times voice some growling and low pitch rear brake noise. It only does it when cold so I just ignore it. I am guessing this is the problem with yours also.

It is on the cold side, low 40s, but once I ride for a bit I don't hear it when I stop for fuel or whatever. Seems to be only happening when cold starting.

It will only get worse,, eventually you will notice hat the bike is HARD to move backward when it is cold.  Not hard to take care of, just takes some time.

It's not a bearing it's in the brake caliper and most likely just the pads. I would play it by ear and see as I doubt it will get worse and probably go away with the next pad change.

Get a water sprayer and wet it down prior to moving the bike. If that will stop the noise, then there is no problem and like others have said, it's simply the pads rubbing on the rotor.

We had 70 degree weather today and I had no squeal, I just have to keep in mind the use this bike has seen so there are some creaky joints when it is cold, or humid, or too cloudy, or too sunny...... laugh
