Audio controller on the Interstate

I wonder if anyone has had the controller apart? A lever return spring has failed in my controller and I don't know if it will be able to be replaced or if I need to get a whole unit. The particular spring to which I refer is on the (Band Memo) lever.

I've had mine apart but just to use contact cleaner in the switches.
Is there a function button you don't use that you could rob the spring from?

After I saw your post, I looked for mine from my wreck. Couldn't find it, so it must have gone South with all the rest of the parts.
If you want to check with Icelander in the PNW Chapter, Vermin Riders, see if he can find it and sell it to you.

Thanks. I went ahead and just bought one from EBay. This way I'll not be stuck if I can't get mine going, although it has nothing to do with the bike running.
