Since the trunk is rather wide, you'll also need to change the saddlebag hinges to I/S type. Otherwise you can't open the bag lids.

Unless you plan to leave it on the bike, a nice option (but not a necessity) is to have Big BF do the "Super Valk" mod to the trunk mounting rails.  This allows for quick on-and-off if you don't consistently need to extra storage.  A worthwhile and reasonable investment, IMHO.  YMMV.  Terry
