Just thought I would drop a note while I had a minute at work. (Plus I get paid to talk to my friends)
Kathy and I are doing well. There has been no adjustment to married life. She still loves me and does everything I say. I can say that here because she doesn't read this board. Her health has been fine. The Dr's are truly amazed at how well and fast she has recovered. December 10th we go for another CT scan and if that is as clear as the others have been, they will step out the visits to every three months instead of 8 weeks. Still the same deal though, alternating one visit is blood work, the other is a CT scan. It will be 15 months Dec 9th since the surgery. There has been no sign of cancer since. I do count my blessings every single day.
We both wish we had more time for visiting friends and we are working hard at making that happen as soon as possible.
All it takes is 2.7 seconds of incredible courage to change your life.
This was Beale Street in Memphis. Married less than 72 hours and she said "honey you made husband of the year". She didn't know about the carriage ride.
