I have a 2014 Valkyrie with the OEM Honda luggage rack and the OEM passenger back rest...Does anyone know if there is someone out there, another company who makes a taller passenger back rest that will fit with using the OEM luggage rack?
I'd like to find a taller Passenger back rest..... Smiley

Alternate solution: Trade the older taller passenger (wife?) for a newer shorter passenger (mistress?).

Wait for the bike to be burned to the ground by taller passenger.

No real support in aftermarket stuff like this. Will be either a custom job or a backrest that works with an alternate manufacturer's seat. You can get a luggage only rack (I have one) that allows you to use a different back rest setup.

Law Dawg,

Making a custom backrest would be childs play for any iron worker near you.  You would then just have to find a backrest pad to suit your passenger.
I made both the backrest and the pad for my bike.  I couldn't find anything I liked, so I made something I did like.

Law Dawg,

is it the backrest pad or the sissy bar that you want to change?  It is pretty easy to build a new backrest pad that is taller/wider/whatever.  You can get a local upholstery shop to cover it in the vinyl you want (but, depending on how you want it done, they may curse you the whole time they're doing it).

I have an industrial sewing machine sitting about 6 feet away from my left elbow as I type this.  So I tend to do my own upholstery.  I can share my thoughts/experience with you if all you are after is a new backrest pad.
