I am doing the retrofit of a Daymaker headlight thanks to DarkSider's awesome adapter bracket. The main light is plug and play with the Valk wiring, and then there is a wire with a spade connector on the end, which I assume is to power the halo running light on the headlight.

Understand that there are jurisdictions where you can and cannot use this type of running light; I am going to give it a try anyway because it looks awesome.

So my question is, how do I connect it? Here is a look at the guts of my bucket. I found these 2 unused connectors, and wondering if they are accessory taps, and if so, can I use one of them? I assume I'd have to swap out the spade connector to a plug connector like on the turn signals? Any help would be appreciated.

If I'm particularly emboldened by your responses, I may even try adding a switch!  Cheesy

Someone with the halolight will have to say what the spade connector is for, but the orange with white trace should be left turn signal and the lite blue with white trace should be the right turn signal.

This wiring schematic is valuable . Before you mess with the wiring, make sure of what you are doing. PM Darksider. I'm sure he can help you out. Also the inside of your bucket seems really rusty. I would try to mitigate that.

I have a fuse block mounted under my seat and simply ran a wire to one of the circuits so when the power comes on it is on. It would be no trouble to switch it. I know Bill Jr. switched his because he has a blue Halo and didn't want the blue on all the time.

This may help. You need the halo wiring harness.

what is the halo wiring harness? I ordered and received the metal halo ring but there is no wiring in the box--or is it on the you tube video--I haven't got around just yet to find some mechanic to put it on for me as I'm not too good at that-thanx
