Did a lot of riding with Rick back in the day. Seems every time I turn around another friend is gone or badly hurt. I hope he can pull out of this, sounds pretty bad  Cry

Here is a link to the accident, looks like some one pulled out in front of Rick.
From the looks of the bike, a miracle he survived.

I read the article. Some troll (same last name as the minivan driver) in there is claiming she was in a turn lane and he ran into her. In the photo it is clear she is in the passing lane of oncoming traffic and looked like she was crossing that lane when she went in front of him. According to the article charges will be filed.

I suppose the bike smashed into the van and pushed her into the opposite oncoming traffic, William! (troll) A$$ Hat!

The vans rear end was on the other side of the yellow lines clearly in the picture. Saying she was squarely in the turning lane is a bold faced lie.

I hate hearing this - Rick goes way back in the VRCC - In the post above sounds just like him with having the middle finger working !!
Prayers for his recovery which sounds like could take some time.

Rick is good people, I would go down by him and ride before the chapter up here grew. He is a tough guy, he will pull thru this. When I get back from NY I will take a ride down and see him.
