I don't understand the chasing them down and capturing them. They have already attacked you, blast them out of he water and move on to the next one.

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

There was a day when the rules of war were honored........piracy at sea is an act of war....terrorism is an act of war when so many are at war with terror, but the "bleeding hearts" wont stand for true justice (the battlefield kind)

Being a Christian doesn't make you a door mat. If you recall, Jesus asked his followers if there was a sword among them when preparing for a journey. When they said no he told them to sell their cloak and buy one..... Pirates have always understood that they were risking their lives in the pursuit of treasure. Of course we could always just pay them off and maybe they would leave everyone alone? Hey, I might win a Nobel Peace Prize for that idea, I want my 1.4 million!! Then I could buy an Interstate!!

Yes mr se it is a strange mixture being a Christian and being in the military, going into combat. Until you have been there you CANNOT know. BUT, in war killing is not murder. A person should not pick up a weapon and join the fight if he/she is not already prepared to give his/her life. Once you are caught red handed in battle against the enemy and you get your head blown off....all is fair. Its nice to see you can still so easily attack your fellow Valkyrieriders PERSONALLY instead of defending a position no matter how uninformed it might be. Nice only because in this world where everything else is changing even some nasty things staying the same is kinda nice in a strange way

Here is an interesting take on that bit of biblical knowledge. This person suggests the purpose of the sword was to make the band illegal, thus fulfilling his prophecy, rather than actually using it against someone. He notes in fact, that Jesus chastized the person who actually did use it against the slave. http://www.ecapc.org/articles/RensbeD_HS4_BuyASword.asp

Typical Eagle response. Like Brian said "being a Christian doesn't make you a door mat". They should have just blown the out of the water and been done with it. A few years ago me and my brother took our pastor out to the shooting range for a little target practice. I asked him "pastor how would Jesus feel about self defense". He told me that "Jesus would not want you to be a victim". That being said Self defense is not murder. If basically comes down to its either them of me. PERIOD.
