Big Dave suggested Gila Bend so here goes. Since this is Lunch. KSU 1000 from the secret spot or meet up on the way. Down the 303 to I10 and you know the rest. Looks like there are at least 4 places to eat besides the Space Age Diner. I know none of them so if you have eaten at one please comment on it. Sofias-Mexican 616 E Pima St Humbertos-Mexican 610 E Pima St Little Italy-Pizza 502 E Pima St Cafe Charo-Mexican 2891 South Butterfield Trail This is from a Taco Tuesday ride up to Payson but you should get the idea....LOL  |

I've been in bed solid for the last two days due to major neuropathy pain. Can't seem to stand and walk on my own two feet! CRAP! It ain't easy getting past the loss of a spleen, gall bladder and pancreas all at once! Hopefully health issues will be behind me soon enough! I'll let everyone know when I'll be functional but feeling swell(no pun intended) comes and goes following it's own sched. Did I say CRAP? Yes, I believe I may have mentioned it! ♫   |

Wish we could have joined in on the festivities. My riding partner is still battling that vertigo issue. Taking her in to see our PCP in a couple hours. However, a close friend of mine told me over the weekend that she is subject to bouts of vertigo and it takes her a couple of weeks to get back on her feet. Yikes!
Hopefully we can join next time...

If you're in Gila Bend, that's the place. I wouldn't make a ride just to go there. It was OK. Friendly waitress. |

As Sandy said it's a terminus for a ride. The Sandwich that I had was good but as Big Dave said "the bread could have been better". Guy on the GL1800 board says that Sophias has moved nearer to the McDonalds. Across the street from the new Chevron that is being built. We can try that the next time we are using Gila Bend for a destination.. |
