I'm headed down on Sunday Morning. This is a great event that's been going on for the last 5 years.
This weekend you can see it all, classic racing, antique bikes, old bike swap meet, and vendors.
If that's not reason enough to go...there's the Barber motorcycle museum on the site that has over 900 bikes " even a new 97 Valkyrie"   I hope the weather is good Sunday, so I can ride the bike down, if not I will have to drive the pickup and maybe pull my trailer, just in case I see something I can't live without...LOL

Hey Terry, I'm still enjoying the 98 Tourer. Everybody I try to sell another bike to wants the valk. Its hard to get them to look at anything else. I hope you are doing well.
I wish I could go down, but got responsibilities on Sunday.

that 97 Valk is a red and white Tourer (good choice  Roll Eyes)....on a big platform...with some quote on the platform that says something about "some bikes are no longer made" ...or something like that. Someone has posted a pic of it here before.

Barbers...largest motorcycle museum in North America. What's great....is...it's in my back yard (almost)...so i get to see it several times a year........

we have gone there twice for Cheaha event.......

(PS....weather should be a bit better Sunday? Saturday is supposed to be horrendous...heavy rain...bad storms...etc. Sunday, about a 40-50% chance of SCATTERED storms....  But hey, you know how FORCASTS go................they're NEVER wrong........yea.........right............. Shocked )

Carl,
I'm glad you still have that tourer..it's a keeper for sure! I just bought another low milage valk, that has some light cosmetic damage, only to the headlight, crashbar, speedometer housing, clutch master cyl. and the tip of a cobra exhaust. Crazy...not a scrath on the body! I'm thinking this will be my last.

Redvalk,
This will be my first trip to the vintage festival, but been to the museum several times, My problem with this time it will be a day trip, so not much time for the museum  Embarrassed
