To those who have painted their bikes......
what do you think of powder coating tank and fenders?
Pros and cons?

  A lot have done it.  Look at Big Poppa Pumps avatar. His black and red is powder coat. 
 We have done several in the bike shop I work at.  Make sure there are no dents as the coating will magnify the problem.

I don't see why not. Two tones might be a challenge, though a stripe might correct any fuzz. I have seen some neat candy colors on frames using silver nickel base under a color mixed with clear, then clear on top.

Way cheaper to powder coat than to get the parts painted. Every single metal part on this bike except the engine block and the exhausts has been powder coated.

Seems you managed to get the lines between the colors very clean. Something I haven't been able to get done as yet.

Ross, I got a really good PC guy down here in Natalia, TX. He specializes in MC parts and I've seen him do even more complex PC jobs with other bikes. Plus pricewise, he is way way cheaper than some of the shops around here in San Antonio. If I am not mistaken, I paid around $350 bucks for getting the gas tank PC'd. This includes sandblasting and 4 layers of PC (1 black, 1 red and 2 clear coats).
