What is the best method to mount exhaust tips on my truck stacks? Any tips or tricks to lining up and drilling the holes holes?  Roll Eyes
Just to be clear the tips are similar to Grumpy's tips with with the screw threads on the tips. It fits inside the Truck stack.

Well without looking at the ones you have hard to say but the ones Grumpy makes has an Allen head set screw that you tighten from the inside and there are three of them you just snug them against the stack and no drilling required. Also they should be re tightened after a few runs just to make sure they don't loosen.

Aces, congratulations on your NTY I/S.  She looks like a great bike.

I like the idea of a allen head set screws. That way no holes through my stacks.
I'm selling my 1st red/blk interstate. The new one has all the goodies I wanted and more that I could not afford. When all said and done it should work out to even trade.

Go easy tightening the set screws, it's easy to over do it and dimple the truck stacks.

I was a newbie here. I bought them from another member. Never heard of the legendary Gumpy at that time.
He has worked on my bike since then.  cooldude [quote author=Hook#3287

Is Grumpy still making/selling his exhaust tips? I've seen mention of his web site in old threads but the links are dead.

I have a set of MarkT pipes that should be showing up any day now and I'd love to add the tips.

Thanks,
