I just realized that the end of InZane 17 will be a long weekend, July 1 Canada Day, off work. I've been approved for June 23, and 26-30, which means back to work Tuesday July 3rd. That means one extra day to drive back home.

For now, Tess is not complaining about how long we'll be away from home, so I may have to be throwing her a nice meaty bone, either a stop at her sister's place in Calgary or a night in Tualip WA at the casino. Of course, it might be cheaper maybe in Kelowna at the casino instead.

So far my plans are just in the beginning stages. 23rd down to Post Falls, spend the 24th locally driving around the area, then on the 25th over to Billings for InZane 17.

I don't know times/distances when at Billings, but was thinking of ridding over to Yellowstone, the Grand Tettons, maybe over to Little Big horn, Devil's Tower and back to the Black Hills.

On the 30th, most likely head straight back to Canada, Alberta most likely, either Waterton or Creston, either one, I want to try Going To the Sun, but I heard it's a slow ride. Should be cheaper staying in Canada. Then back via Hwy 3. 3 days, Fri - Sun, home with one day to rest before back to work, or a night over at the in-laws. IZ15 I left on the Thur morning, and spent a night at Tualip.

Alternative ride might be over to the Columbia River, Portland and maybe the Coast Hwy, back through Port Angelis and The Peace Arch. I don't think there is enough time to do this justice, it should be another 1-2 days longer.

What are your plans?

Our plan is to not plan too much.... head out for Post Falls for Valhalla on either Thursday or Friday AM....have a great time....head out for Billings early Sunday AM for an enjoyable run to Billings in time for the Early Bird BBQ that evening....have a great time....head for home the following Friday AM. We'll ride whichever routes we feel like when the time comes, and will ride with anyone travelling the same routes  Smiley
