I've been getting PMs about my Shad cases, so i'm making this thread to answer everyone. The brackets are heavily modified shad brackets; the top case was a CTX700 bracket and the side cases were BMW R1200r brackets. i chose the r1200r's because they were the cheapest side bracket and the CTX700 because i used to have it on my old CTX700 that i sold to move up to the Valk. I chose this setup over the Corbins because of 120L of storage that this gives me; roughly 3 times the 42L Corbins. Don't get me wrong, the Corbins look absolutely great on our bikes but i needed a a functional setup that would make 2up touring realistic. Its hard to tell in the pics that i'm posting where the original bracket stops and there custom work start since my fabricator did a really good job at making them look their best and fabricated them in a way that won't alter the bike. They are easily removable. At the end of the day i spent about $2000 for parts and labor.

That's nice, I looked your bags and top box up when you first posted, that's
high quality stuff.

I have the Corbin bags and can affix an ugly (but high quality) Givi top box
to the OEM fender rack in no time when I need extra...

They are good looking!  I feel they fit the modern look of the bike.  cooldude

I've been considering upgrading my GIVI box and your photos are a great example to use.

I'll check into SHAD. I was looking at the GIVI Maxima designs before I saw this thread.

You fabrication of mounts is impressive as well.
