I've got about 100 miles on my Russell seat, maybe a little more.

I don't see how I'll ever have another seat complaint, but the real test
will come with a "days long" ride.

I'm onto "the next thing" now... trying to fabricate a rear fender
rack that my Givi can hook to, and also my Utopia backrest.

The Givi is only for long rides (I have one lined up where I have
to bring my own pillows and sheets, that won't fit in the saddlebags  Wink )
but the Utopia will always be on there.

I have the rear seat on there now, and a OEM "rear carrier", so
the Utopia and the Givi are there, but I've always wanted a way
to run solo, just the rider's seat.

You are a very smart man , to buy a RDL seat , you'll be completely spoiled .

I wnat to know ,  what do you think it lifted you by , I mean , how many inches did it raise  you  ?
Any trouble with flat footing ?

Mike,

The Russell seat just keeps getting better for me.  I did a 2500 mi ride last summer and my butt never bothered me once.  Even in the 90F heat.   cooldude

Did you get them to install the Utopia backrest as well?  I had mine installed before I got my seat redone.

The RDL seat probably lowered me a little from the Corbin, at least it
looks to be slanted to the rear a little. They make you send them pictures
of yourself, sitting like you ride, sitting with your feet down and stuff, they
can't make your legs longer  Wink but other than that I don't think they'd
send you a seat that kept you from reaching the ground.

That said, the seat's not optimized for reaching the ground, rather for
riding. When you're stopped, you definitely can feel the "wings" they
put on your seat.

I installed the Utopia into the passenger seat when I first got my bike. I didn't send the
passenger seat to Russell like you did, just the rider's seat.
