What is AZ laws ref handgun carry through the rez? I looked up tribal laws but all the lingo is confusing. Im from ind and AZ honors my lisc. Can I carry normally while traveling thru the rez or am I gonna have to separate it? Going to the GC and passing thru the Navajo rez coming from Utah.

I'm not a lawyer, so take this for what it's worth. I've traveled thru reservations numerous times. I've been stopped a couple times by Tribal police for bullshit reasons. But they've never even asked if I had a weapon. I think you will be fine. I keep it concealed and would recommend the same for you. Now if you were to go off hiking or camping on Indian land you probably should get legal advice. But just traveling thru has never been an issue for me. Watch your speed and all complete stops and such. They like revenue just like other police forces.

The Grand Canyon won't be too bad, but Monument Valley is going to be brutally hot. Be careful  cooldude

Prob going thru the valley in the morning on way to the GC. Guess it depends what 'hot' is? Im used to Sturgis being 90+ which is nice compared to a Ind 90 deg day. The last 2 yrs going to Billings MT it was 106 and after 6-7 hrs of riding in it I was cooked.

Early August you could hit 120*. I don't want to deter you from the trip. Just be prepared.

How is the weather as in rain? Is it like the Plains where it rains for a hour and done?
