I have been shopping around for baker wings to put on my Valk. It will help me stay warmer in the winter. I can't afford the $250-350 for a pair at all. BUT I work at a K-12 school. We have a great welding class  (teacher is the best) who has made a secondary fuel tank and rear rack. So I trust him. They also have a plasma cutter (going to be making a few other things with this). I was wanting to create the mounts but is there directions around on the net? I would really like to buy them but just can't afford it if I want to ride this summer too.

I do not have Baker Wings. However, I would like to hear about your "Secondary" fuel tank.

Don't know if this will help but I've thought about doing this and collected a couple photos.

Would appreciate you share if you come up with something.

On my secondary, I will take pic of what was done before I got her and what I got. Will post picutres and my write up on it.

At my school that I work at, the wedding classes are alway looking for projects to do. I had them create this secondary tank out of alum and then the rack to hold it too.

Thanks, my son-in-law the Canadian painted them for me, he's a talented guy.
