I would like to go, but wondered if anyone else was planning on going from Michigan. It is 1522 miles from my home to ground zero in Billings, MT so I'm planning on 3- 500+ mile days. Since this is such a long trip, I figured I'd make it even longer and take 2 weeks after Inzane and head out to Washington State then head south for a while before turning East and heading home, Let me know what your plans are.
Any attendees interested in the Inzane Afterglo Ride, lemme know!
The FG and I had a great trip after the Spearfish event.

Its a 6 hr ride from Spearfish to Billings on 212, weather depending. Add a hour or more if you stop at Little Bighorn battlefield.
If you go west, stop at Glacier NP. Its 500 miles from Billings and a hard ride. Well it was in Aug.

Naturally I will be heading west after IZ. Plans are still up in the air, first was just going to rush home, 2 days. Now, talk of heading over to OR and the coast, Tillamook, and go to the cheese factory tour there.
I was hoping to go over to the road going-to-the-sun, and back on a few back roads never travelled.

I am looking at combining with a trip that I wanted to do. Follow hwy 26 from western Nebraska to Oregon then take I-80 back home (NE). I am thinking of combining this with Inzane too. Hwy 26 goes be Yellowstone, first nuclear reactor, Mt Hood (camping), Portland, Seaside Oregon and Goonies movie location (80's moves) are just some of the highlights that I want to hit.

26 is a great road. Been on it many times in WY and once in NE. Did lot of the Oregon Tr stuff in NE yrs ago. Really neat. Its a good days ride from Tetans to Casper.

Tillamook is almost the coast, where abouts are those movie Locs from Goonies? The rest of the ride might be the same direction I might be traveling in. All depends on the InZane rides. I'm thinking along the Columbia to the coast. Drove some of it from Portland to the west. Over that green bridge you saw all the times in Grimm. Looks a lot like the local Vancouver Lions Gate Bridge, I understand it was the same architect.

I read the other day that they were tearing down Tillamook Cheese factory and rebuild a bigger and better plant. It may already torn down.... I love that place!

Tillimook Cheese factory closed March 5. They are rebuilding the visitor center with plans to re-open summer 2018. Details here: http://www.oregonlive.com/travel/index.ssf/2017/02/tillamook_cheese_factory_closi.html

KOA Campground cabin is a great place to stay in Speerfish. Right off the highway and you go through Sturgis on the way there.
Not much places to stay in Billings. If you stay at the Red Roof Inn get a room on the first floor. No elevator to the second floor.
We road from Inzane 2017 to Spokane in one day and that wasn't too bad, then from Spokane to Portland the second day and then down to The redwoods on the 101 and then from their to San Jose, then La, then Vegas, and back to Denver. Was a wonderful ride and avoided Rain the whole way!!
We're trying to figure out if we can make it to Inzane this year (2018)... 1500 miles each way...
