The Landmass Between Mobile And New Orleans

« on: October 09, 2009, 02:30:49 PM »

The other day I was rereading Chet's FAQ page and noticed he had on there someone hade used a 215-65-16 tire.  Is anyone still using this size?  Was there any more mods that needed to be done vs. the 205s?

You'll have to mod the drive shaft cover. Two ways to do it. One is take a saw and cut in in several places where the tire will rub it. Once you cut it take a hammer and bend it in some and then weld it back up. Some has taken a BFH and beat it in where the tires rub. To me 205 is wide enough and the other is too much trouble.

Thanks, Oh Great and Mighty Warlock.  Saw it and became curious.  Thought I'd ask.  I'm looking at going with the Falken ZE-912 in 205/65VR16
