Has anyone fitted a tourpack to the new Valkyrie?
Since Corbin makes a seat and bags for the new Valk, I wonder if their tourpack for the Rune(they make 2 sizes) would fit and look ok with the Corbin bags on the new Valk?

Those look like "generic" items; you'll see them shown on many other motorcycles if you search Corbin's web site a bit (look at Harleys, in particular).

A concern would be the rack required to hold such a trunk (and "stuff" you put in it).  The rack really needs to attach securely and be structurally strong enough to handle a fair amount of "cantilevered" weight.

Good luck!  And post photos if you do get one or the other.

I can email you a pic of my Valk with a 55 litre Hepco Becker top box mounted on an OEN rear rack with OEM saddlebags.

Since I use my 2014 Valkyrie for cross country trips I got a Viking hard trunk, and made my own mounts so it sits over were the passenger pad would be, so it is right behind me. That way I can use it as a back rest to lean on. I only put it on for longer trips. It works great since I ride solo on those trips. I also made my own rear rack, that mounts to the OEM sissy bar for those times that I need to take more than would fit in the bags and trunk. Iike a soft cooler for drinks, or snacks for the motel stops. Most of the time I just use the bags for short weekend rides for jacket, hoody, and rain suit.

There are many high quality topbox/tourpac/trunks that mount to any rear rack, they use a mount plate bolted to rack, the box can be mounted or dismounted in seconds. Google Givi, Shad, Hepco & Becker, Coo Case, and more. A good place to start is www.cycleluggage.com www.twistedthrottle.com

There are many different sizes, styles, color panels, backrest pads, lighted, unlighted etc....

That Corbin box may be the nicest looking box ever but its $1500!!!! The ones I mention are between $150 and $450. The corbin comes with a rear rack for several different bikes. They can be adapted to any rear rack by cutting the mounts off and just bolting to another rack or don't buy the Valk rack plate, just the mount and adapt to that. Call Corbin and get pics of the mounts they offer, one look like for a Yamaha and looks like it will bolt to our rack mount with some drilling and maybe some spacers.

Probably not as designed as a Corbin stuff (I've never seen one anyway  2funny) but I bought my Givi Maxia 3 (46 liters) a tenth of the Corbin price  uglystupid2

So cheap and convenient that I bought the new Maxia 4 (56 liters) for about the same price

I also have a GIVI... two GIVIs, a smaller one and
a giant one like Ledany's... the beauty of GIVIs isn't
when they're on the bike, it is that they only
have to be there when needed... here's me headed
out for a nine-or-so day ride to the West Virginia
InZane...

A button-press disconnects the GIVI from the bike, leaving nothing
but a mounting-plate on the bike. The GIVI sprouts a handle and becomes
luggage, so everything that goes into motels at night goes into the GIVI...

Hey Mike, do you have to water the Givi to sprout the handle?  Grin
