I didnt realize that Trump was down here and that he had Airforce One here. So I was sitting haveing breakfast at a local restaurant and they said it was at the airport so I had to see. The weather was absolutely beautiful. So decided to check things out.

I know its only a plane but it was so cool to see it just sitting there. Things are pretty up close and personal here so to see the plane so close was great. Usually in other airports you cannot get close to the planes and see them at a good distance.

There had been peaceful protests and I thought for sure the road would be closed but could drive by Maralago though the security was tight. This was only one pic every turn there were Sheriffs all over.

These boats were on the water in front of Maralago and some were Police. But the boat cut off in the pic all the way to the right was a Coast Guard boat. There was one on both sides of the bridge and there was someone manning a 50 cal machine gun on both boats.

On the road to Maralago there was News trucks with satellite dishes setup along the road. Camera men with long lens cameras trying to get pics in the compound. It was not a circus as I would have expected it would be and quite frankly I didn't know if I would be able to go down the road at all. I have a pic of a tower set up next to the road and it looked like a guard tower and had a machine gun on the top which could see down the road.

I had gone for a ride to the everglades on Saturday put a few hundred miles on my baby so today was closer to home. Had some things to do at the house but couldn't let this opportunity go. I was so happy I was on the bike it made maneuvering and getting in and out so much easier. The day was just the best and I must tell you I love my bike. It never missed a beat and maneuvering was easy and didn't worry at all about going from highway to idling for a time. I dont know if its the cooler weather or the bike is breaking in more but the she was just ready to go. The highway was a breeze and in traffic when you have a good bike under you it makes all the difference in the world. Things have gotten more congested here and more and more I am getting plenty of practice at maneuvering in traffic and bypassing stopped cars.

Thanks for sharing your ride Robert.
It makes the non-riding days, here in the Great White North, seem a tad shorter....

Looks really nice there.  If I had the time I would load up the bike and trailer it down there.  If only I had the time....can't wait until I retire...

Very Cool.   I know what you mean. I went through an older Air Force one at the Ronald Reagan Library.
Thank you for sharing these pictures.......

Yup that is kind of the problem I am having, I have been across the US many times in a car and plane but not on a bike. I want to attend the Inzanes like the one in Billings but work and time restrictions get in the way. That is really one reason I bought this bike, for me its a better traveling companion than the 1500. One day, I will and still remember stopping one night while traveling across the country on the road and I was surrounded by corn fields as far as the eye could see. The moonlight shining on the fields and it was so quiet. I have this and many other memories from traveling and look forward to more.  cooldude

I did the same when years ago Pres. Bush was in Phoenix, the parking lot for private jets at Sky Harbor is right next to the airport access road. No place to pull over and gawk though. Just a ride by.
