Thanks for the bad news goldie. I guess our bikes "ain't worth sh!t", less than 1/2 MSRP in 3 yrs.. The f6cforum also "ain't worth sh!t". It's so jamb packed with advertisements I don't ever post or visit anymore. (Can you tell I've got PMS?)

It is true, a friend with a full wing just bought a second "play bike" 2014 blue Valk for exactly 8g even 4k miles with sissy bar and windshield!

I have news for ya, used bikes all do not retain their value except, to some degree, HD, but even they are becoming less valuable due to the sheer amount of them out there.
I have never bought a bike and thought of resale. I bought the *uckin' thing to ride it..done.
I have completely enjoyed every bike I've ever owned...and could care about what it is worth when it comes time to buy a new one. I always got my money's worth out of the bike...my opinion anyway.

I didn't list the bike to draw ire. I listed it to inform of a great deal to anybodt that was on the fence about buying. I thought about buying and having the bike shipped to my home. Maybe you have a friend or acquaintance that would be interested. The resale value has no bearing on whether or not I enjoy the bike! I love my bike! The fact that it didn't sell so well and that it appears that further production has been cancelled is a bonus for me! As far as I'm concerned people who decided not to buy were snoozing and ended up losing! Sam, try some Pamprin and/or Midol for PMS relief.

Sam, try some Pamprin and/or Midol for PMS relief. Thanks for the suggestion goldie but that sh!t won't work for my PMS.Only one cure for me. What that kid said in the Honda commercial, "mister I just wanna ride"... As far as resale. Motorcycles are a bad investment, never bought any bike expecting it to be anything but. I have been buying, riding motorcycles since 1966. The depreciation on my Valk has been the worst, by far than any previous bike. IMO it's sad, for me and for Honda.

Resale? I'm riding the damn wheels off this thing. Mid thirties and I found my forever bike. That and the 1500... it's like I'm fooling around with a mother daughter combo that will be happy with an Applebee's dinner price.

It seems to me that you really enjoy the rides by the pics that you post. I say, "what is the experiential value?" Isn't that more important? Let's face it, the bike (engine especially) is going to last a very long time. All things considered, that's priceless!

Same here, I will never sell this bike. I might ride it into the ground but I won't sell it. It is getting weirder looking by the day pretty much but it is my kind of weird.

I enjoy the conversations the bike sparks, even among the haters and dislikers. I've yet to run across anyone hating my bike at night time, the unique looks coupled with the light show get lead to some great rider conversations. I might even try to add a Rune to my stable, so I can say I caught them all. The Valkyrie is just too unique to give up.

Same thing, it is what we want to do and spend our money on, it is therapy.

I will also keep this bike until it dies. I had my last valk for 12 years and I only got rid of it because I wanted something lighter, since my wife rides her own now. If I was the type of guy who changed their bike out every few years then I would not be too happy. Then again, a person like that should be used to loosing money.

This sets the scene for these 2 jokers) deciding if I wanted to take this weird ass thing for a ride. A man and a woman walked up to me. They were both the cliche Harley fan bois. Harley belt buckles, jackets etc. I mean seriously cliche. I recon they had Harley on their undies hahah. She said to me "So what do you like about this bike?". I said "Well I haven't ridden it yet but from what I understand the power, handling and reliability sound pretty good." She literally snorted and said "It's a bit too Buck Rogers for me" and just then the sales man come out and asked if he could help. She said "No I don't think so" and he started to turn away and I said "Well you can help me". The rest is history. Buck Rogers? Yeah sold *edit: Ohh night time

I'd of told that lady that her plastic surgery was to ah, to 'Toy Story' for me! lol... I hear ya with the Harley paradigm...SO, so, so sick of it. Where I live they are everywhere...like the plague in the 9th century... The more popular they become the more I wanna barf, and the more I will NEVER own one... I like the weird.
