For the past few years, I've been riding with a group led by Ross Crum that performs motorcycle escort for the bike riders during the Sam's Club MS-150 bike ride for Multiple Sclerosis. I do this to honor Houdini's wife Mary in her battle against MS.
If you'd like to volunteer, spend a couple of days riding (mostly slow) and keeping the bikes out of trouble (providing inner tubes, water, etc that you get at the rest stops) then go to the link and sign up. It's a good thing to do.
This year, it's May 6th and 7th.
