gas gauge for my 1997 Valkrie 1500

I need to be directed to the person who made the fuel gauge for the 1997 Valkire 1500. I think i read that he was a engineer in the Netherlands,,,,if he is not available then anyone else who has engineered a gravity sending fuel gauge that sends a proper signal to a lighted fuel gauge that I can affix to the handlebar.
