Taking the bike out for a spin, Almost new Avon, bought this June front, Cooper Zeon rear (Darksider). Check their PSI, front is at 19 PSI?!. A 1/4 inch tech screw (3/8 inches long) is in the tire. Not in the grooves, right in the meaty part. Its only leaking maybe a bubble a second but WTF 3/8? Pardon the rant but I am annoyed!

I picked up a piece of bone from some roadkill in a Cooper DS. Not the best of days.

I am in MD now visiting my son in college When I get home tomorrow I will see if I have 9 oz of ride-on left to give you. If not order a 3 pack and stop worrying about flat tires
I do have a tube of the car tire stuff for your rear cooper if you want it
If I have it I will leave it on the porch and you can just take it on the way home from work

Thank Oss, I got it covered! Actualy I have a spare tire brand new from Avon for the defective tire they sold me last year. The point being that 3/8 of a inch should not penetrate a fairly new tire

If you have a spare, I would use that up but next time you might consider putting a rear tire up front--more tread.

Ha! That would make steering real interesting! He is referring to a rear motorcycle tire up front. However in my early riding days both tires on the bikes were the same. They were just small car tires, 6:00 X 16 4 ply.

It was a long time ago, but I rode an old WWII Army HD it appeared to have car tires front and rear, slightly rounded profile, but it had a side car that was removed
